Happy 1st Birthday Carissa Faith!

Happy 1st birthday to our sweet Carissa Faith!! We can't believe how fast this year has gone by but can't remember you not being part of our lives either! What a fun loving little girl you have grown into this year! You are no longer an infant but a full grown toddler!! Walking all over, talking and full of wonderment!
It was 1 year ago today that you came into this world at 10:07am 6lbs 2oz, 19 inches long. You always have a smile and are just a joy. Mommy and Daddy are so blessed and thank God every day for you!
Everyone seems to say that having a birthday around Christmas is tough but we have been doing so much celebrating that you are getting lots of parties around your birthday! Mommy will post pics of all the celebrations soon! (On your actual bday today we had a Carissa, Mommy and Daddy day! We played in the snow, went to the Strong Museum of Play and went out to eat at Hibachi since you love to watch all the action and love rice! lol) We had a party with Daddy on his birthday with a cake for you too! We are having a pool party with playgroup friends on Sunday at the Perinton  Pool since you love it so much! And our big family 1st birthday party is next weekend on Saturday! Whew!! Lots of fun!

Merry Christmas!

 

What a wonderful first Christmas Carissa had! So much fun! Playing and lots of presents at Great Nana's on Christmas Eve. Then we went to Auburn for some Ukrainian Christmas traditions with Babci & Dziedzie at Great Uncle Myron & Aunt Irene's house.  Carissa loved the Ukrainian/Polish food and ate great! She loved all her presents, especially her new baby doll. Didn't put it down all night! She loved playing with cousins Stephanie and John too! Then we spent the night in Camillus at Babci and Dziedzie's! Santa came and Carissa got so many wonderful presents from everyone! Aunt Melissa and Uncle Kevin came over for breakfast and then we had a relaxing day and lots of fun and ended the evening with a walk around the neighborhood with the pretty snow and looked at all the Christmas lights! Carissa loved them! It was so nice to spend time with family, relax and enjoy!Carissa has been taking steps for about a month now but it seems she decided to truly start walking on Christmas day!

 So special seeing Christmas for the first time through the eyes of a child. Priceless!
